The solution

tpf Live implemented a high-profile promotional and publicity campaign to build huge anticipation for the final season of Game of Thrones. The Sky Atlantic ‘7 Kingdoms Throne Tour’ gave fans across the UK and Ireland the chance to site on the Iron Throne and get a free Dragon Easter Egg.

The throne tour drove significant media interest in all seven locations including broadcast, print, online and across social media helping to increase the fan buzz and excitement.

The results

The 7 Kingdoms Throne Tour had a total estimated footfall of 620,000 with more than 26,000 people interacting with activation. Hundreds of people queued for an average of an hour and a half in each Kingdom to take their seat on the Iron Throne.
