The 150th Open Claret Jug Tour, in partnership with HSBC UK, started its journey at Royal St George’s Golf Club in Sandwich, Kent, host of The 149th Open. tpf organised the 17-stop tour across the UK & Ireland delivering significant media coverage through talent interviews and influencer partnership with golf aficionado Chris Hughes.
Chris Hughes was the perfect influencer selection to meet campaign objectives of engaging with both existing golf fans but also young families and a female audience. Content inventory included posts across his Instagram grid and Stories, Twitter, and a dedicated 2-part YouTube series.
The campaign outperformed KPIs with a strong engagement rate across all content of more than 3%.
